Tuesday Mail for Three Friends

I've mentioned before that I have been making cards and mailing every Tuesday; it began more than three years ago when a dear friend was diagnosed with cancer.  A year ago, I added a new friend who lives on an isolated cattle ranch in the neighboring county.  This week, I'm adding my oldest correspondent-friend.  We taught together in the 60's and when I went to Micronesia, we started a correspondence that has lasted all these years.  Lately, however, our correspondence has almost died out--we e-mail now and then.   We had gone from handwritten letters, to typed ones, to computer-generated ones...and I'm going back to the handwritten ones, this time on handmade cards.

I have caught the Feather Phase, and now have stamps and dies from three sources. These cards were made with the Four Feathers set from Stampin' Up.  (Two of these are CASEs of cards found on Pinterest. )

Bravo, Evelyn! I so admire you for doing this and it makes my heart feel good to know that someone is keeping this practice active. And thank you for writing about it and hopefully encouraging others to do the same. I'm an old-fashioned gal that way. Email is convenient for some things, but when you take the time to write a letter it's so much more special. Your cards are beautiful and just perfect for correspondence. That SU! feather set is one of the prettiest I've seen.
