No Stamping

I have so many beautiful free downloaded images in my files, and this is one of my favorites.  It's a vintage image of a "snow" girl.  Here I've printed it on cream-colored cardstock, mounted it on specialty gold, and added it to a layer embossed with snowflakes and trimmed with ribbon seam binding, all placed on a kraft card.  Inside is a computer-generated poem that I found on the internet  about a "snow girl."  I made two---each week I send a card to two different women, one a longtime dear friend of 50 years and the other, a young woman I first got acquainted with through Flickr photos and then actually met two different times this past summer. No stamping required!

What a wonderful idea. Love all the layering, too. More wonderful ideas.
Small world, isn't it, if you have actually met someone from flickr.
Merry Christmas.
