Pattern Play Day #3
Using some of those 12x12 bold patterns just became easier with Kristina Werner's lesson on Day 3.
This beautiful bold floral paper is from K&Company's Spring Blossom pad by Susan Winget
I've created a card that would work well for a man. Debby Hughes demonstrated cards with a chevron pattern, but I chose a busy piece from Authentique's "Blissful" 6x6 pad. This is the very first time I've tried a negative die cut on a card front, too! The pattern at the bottom is washi tape and the dot accents are Liquid Pearls.

Marvelous Evelyn, love the flower card
lovely greet Marja
you're right, the second card works well for a man. Intriguing color combination but it works! I really like the large flower on your first card. It looks like a work of art!
Yes indeed. More beauties--just from paper! You certainly are opening up new doors in your creativity.
Also--more like your photography.
Looks like I need to find the big flower pad.

Both cards are fabulous. The pink Floral is gorgeous, and becomes the focal point like a work of art, the soft pink is so subtle.
I really like your masculine card as well, and you used the difficult pattern so perfectly.
