I need something to get me started crafting again....too much time devoted to photography, I know. I have a stack of "stuff" on our unused kitchen table, but it's so disorganized that I don't know where to start. Last week, I recycled a "ton" of old scrapbook and designer papers, keeping only the ones that I still found good to look at. One piece was a gray textured piece with random dots in off-white and pale pink. It was enough to inspire me to make a card. I also wanted to work with flower dies, and this one is Heartfelt Creations' "Delicate Asters." The sentiment is an old one from Hero Arts. I embellished the dots with Liquid Pearls.

Hello Evelyn
Your Photography is obviously enjoyable for you and I suggest it would inspire you immensely towards your card-making. We need to have a break occasionally, to recharge the creativeness within. Having a clean out certainly helps to I think.
Your colour palette here is gorgeous, it is unique in that the Pink is less vibrant than what one would expect against your Grey.
But I like it.
Smiles:)

What a cheerful card this is, Evelyn!
What a wonderful shade of pink. I was just thinking today of how so many colors look good with gray. Love the random dots on the flower. Funny how those designer papers can lose their appeal. If I was smart I'd use up one or two pads before I bought more, but I'm not smart in that respect. Working on it, though.
