Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas #8

There seem to be many more differences than similarities between Linda's tag (Funkie Junkie Tags of Christmas) and mine this week. But this is how I was inspired:  similar design with a flower at the bottom and the Tim Holtz greeting stamped vertically on the left side. My main image isn't Santa, but is a flourish of snowflakes in Distress Resist as Tim did his November tag.  The Distress Inks I used were Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Dusty Concord.  Like Linda, I heat-embossed the additional image accents at the top and bottom of the tag.  (The greeting is "shadowed" because I decided to add some shimmer by spritzing with Iridescent Memories Mist. The problem was that it's not transparent, so it blurred the sentiment.  I re-stamped it, creating the shadow effect.)

Hello Evelyn
The blurry effect gives an ethereal look; a softness that you do not always capture with the Blue hues.
Your Flower and the snowflakes are wonderful accents, it is a lovely Tag.
Smiles:)

This is sensational, Evelyn. The colors are just wonderful and I love that trail of snowflakes falling down the center. Gorgeous flower too! Now you are definitely caught up - great work. Can't wait to see what you share with us next week!

Hugs,
Linda
