Cynnie posted some more
beautiful summery handpainted papers, and I chose one for my tag. First, I printed on both sides of my cardstock. Then I die cut flowers with Tim's Tattered Florals die and stamped them with a text background stamp. The tag was cut from coordinating cardstock and embossed in a script embossing folder. After all the pieces were assembled, I spritzed with Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist.

Are these colors fabulous or WHAT!...this is such a pretty tag and that you made the paper into flowers...I love it:)
Its funny how we move from one technique to another and bring the old one back. I love making backgrounds but I needs lots of room hahaha. Off to 2 days of stamping this weekend, cant wait to share what I did on my blog and I think its about creating backgrounds from scratch
Your tag is lovely. I especially like the script on the flower petals. Awesome job! Connie :)
Hello Evelyn
Turquoise is such an engaging colour; it is brilliant, dynamic and exhilarating. A playful warm blue as it carries an undertone of Purple, thereby bringing energy to your piece. You have dimension, texture and wonderful form.
This is a most beautiful Tag.
Smiles:)

super chique!!!!
Love this color combination, Evelyn.
So nicely done!
That's super cool! The color is so pretty.
Once I made homemade paper. My dad said, "Throw some of this mulch in it." I did. Two days later cotton started growing from my paper! It was cotton mulch. I wasn't expecting that!
I just put up some of my art here:
