I found this challenge on Our Creative Corner when I visited Sue's Scrumplescrunch blog today. It's a color challenge "with a twist," and the twist involves circles. Poppy, pink, lime, black and white comprise the color palette, and I've chosen Tim Holtz's mini-rosette die for my circles. The card base is Core-dinations cardstock that's black on top and lime green under. After dry embossing the main layer in a paisley pattern, I sanded it a bit to bring out some of the green. The card base itself is made of the same cardstock, so the interior is lime green. The sentiment is by Wordsworth.

Hello Evelyn
How positively delighted I am that you have joined in this weeks Challenge at OCC. Gosh you are creating some extraordinary cards at the moment, every time you post it catches my breadth...... This card is another stunning piece, the rosettes just'PoP'from the Black Bg; a wonderful contrast and very effective.
Thank you also for the mention, that was very kind of you.

Totally awesome work on this challenge, you totally nailed it! Love your black paisley background and the rosettes are the perfect way to highlight the colors in the challenge and include circles too. Your sentiment is wonderful. So happy to have you joining in our challenge this week at Our Creative Corner.
Ooh, this is totally beautiful! I love your rosettes - great way to incorporate both the challenge colors and circles into your card. Classy and gorgeous! Thanks so much for playing along with the OCC!
What a bold, bright card, Evelyn! I love how the rosettes pop off the dark, embossed background. So glad you joined us at Our Creative Corner! :)
