Backgrounds with Stains
After watching a tutorial on Joggles about creating background with texture, I actually tried several of the ideas on some tags. It's a great way to use the Distress Stains....if only to create basic colorful backgrounds. However, texture can be added with Stain "splats," bubble wrap, and a simple prescription bottle. Sometimes, I like my backgrounds better than what I could put on top of them! There's a lot of potential here, though.

I so agree with you, re liking the Bg's as they are. I often make samples of papers with different watercolour effects, and they sit on my shelf, I look and touch them adoringly, but they never see a card; the time is never right, I am so afraid I could not re-create the effect.
