I'm not sure why I don't make sympathy cards ahead of time so I can have them when I need them. Today, I spent all afternoon making four cards for the wife and three grown daughters of a man who was killed two days ago. It was a terrible accident involving a careless driver who hit the truck of a county road crew, crushing one of the workers against another truck. Johnny was 60, a native of our little town with a large extended family and even larger circle of friends.

Hello Evelyn
How very tragic.....
You have made a lovely set of cards, I especially like the bottom one.
Smiles:)
Gorgeous cards - love the color palette and the simplicity - perfect for the occasion.
How tragic this is Evelyn, and how very kind you are to have made these beautiful cards for his family.
That is so sad. No we dont keep a stock of sympathy cards do we, I guess its because we dont want to be prepared as death is always so sudden. I'd better get down to making some too when I get my craft gear in order, tried stamping yesterday and couldnt find a thing
So sorry to hear of this tragedy. I am sure your cards with their quiet elegance and your kind words inside will be a comfort to his family.
I'm so sorry to hear about this tragedy. Many lives have been dealt a terrible blow and my heart goes out to those who are hurting. I never have a sympathy card when I need one, either, and have been thinking along those lines for my next stamping project. These four are absolutely ideal. Your colors, papers, and choice of images are all perfect. Very nice!
Beautiful cards Evelyn, but such a sad reason to create them, it seems to be that time right now. I had to make three myself this week.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend.
I need to be better prepared myself
hugs Lynn
