She's Always on My Mind

Eleven months ago, my long-ago college roommate and lifetime friend was diagnosed with cancer.  A mass in her liver was most likely a "traveler" from the breast cancer later diagnosed.  Since that day, she has had 30 chemotherapy treatments.  Determined to be in "partial remission" a month ago, she was able to go to chemo pills.  The latest MRI, however, shows numerous small lesions on her brain.  She begins radiation today, the first of 14 sessions.   Each week of her journey, I've made a card to send to her.   This is the card for this week.  The flower is a digi image from Hero Arts.  The pretty wide green ribbon is from Stampin' Up! and the glittery background paper is from First Edition's "Spring Feast" 6x6 pad.  The sentiment is a clear stamp, and I don't know where it's from.

I remember you mentioning your friend last year Evelyn. It does not sound good this latest find.
However, your beautiful card will put a smile on her face when she receives it. Let us hope she does not suffer too long, it is very sad.
Smiles:)

I know that your dear friend appreciates every single sign of caring you show her. There really are tough times in life where loving gestures are something that help those who are suffering through their most difficult moments.
