I LOVE Blue!

It's Bloggers Challenge again, and Lisa has chosen Monochromatic Blue.   Blue is, hands-down, my favorite color; anyone who has been in my house can attest to that.  In fact, I've been kicking myself for not choosing blue for our recent new car purchase and settling for "Graphite" instead.  I knew that the choice of blue would be too obvious for my family, I guess.   (Our youngest son assures me that this color is "classy" instead of "flashy.")

"Tradewinds" from DCWV has some beautiful blue patterned papers, and I chose the herringbone pattern to back my alcohol ink Hero Arts flower and the Hero Arts sentiment.

Your cool brilliant blue of your flower gives a dramatic effect Evelyn, an engaging colour expressing exhilaration.
It is one of the least gender-specific colours, having equal appeal to both men and women, I agree with your son it is not flashy it is engaging and pleasing to the eye.
I like Blue too.
Smiles:)
