Off the Wall

It took several days of thinking about the Grungy Monday challenge, and I watched Tim's video of his "plastic" Christmas tag several times.   My result is most likely way off the mark, but I have dimensional grungepaper "Tattered Floral" shapes coated with acrylic paints and I've embossed a piece of plastic from something IdeaOlogy to cover the embossed and distressed tag.  (The tag is one of the new kraft tags from Ranger.)

Great tag! I love the simple and elegant design, and the blue of the flower is fab against the kraft background. X

Beautiful tag! Love the soft brown on the flower and how you've placed the plastic over just part of the tag.

How surprised I am when I hear you undermining your creations Evelyn. This Tag is gorgeous, it has texture, dimension and elements that all work well in the design. Using the colour turquoise as the dominant HUE immediately draws you in, it has a cool and calming effect and pairing it up with the plastic reinforces the message. The Kraft Tag opposes this feeling bringing in the warm and the neutral tones thus, bringing one back down to earth.
Look at the Tag again Evelyn and tell me what you see?
Your work is wonderful, and I am always inspired by what you create.
Smiles:)
