Think Blue (and think Japan) for TMTA

"Think Blue" is this week's theme for Think Monday Think ATC.  Looking through my files, I found this wonderful Japanese image of giant waves. With a little research, I read that it is by a Japanese artist, but is considered very 'un-Japanese' and much more Western.  Originally a woodblock print, my image came from Dover publications.   The Breaking Wave Off Kanagawa. Also called The Great Wave. Woodblock print from Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Fuji, which are the high point of Japanese prints. The original is at the Hakone Museum in Japan.

A Japanese image of giant waves seems appropriate at this time.

Evelyn, this is so appropriate and so beautiful. I also have that on my computer somewhere, but I didn't even think of it.

I can see how it would be viewed 'un-Japanese.'
It does not look oriental, but you have have done it justice in this card Evelyn.
