"Grungy Monday" replaces "Compendium of Curiosities" challenge

Linda Ledbetter  has continued a Tim Holtz-related challenge to replace her fun series based on Tim's book.  The new "Grungy Monday"  is truly a challenge for me:  I don't do grunge well on a consistent basis.   This tag is my third attempt---only the two-handed arm is a consistent!  However, this is Linda's description:    Each week, we'll be exploring the techniques, products and all-around genius of papercraft artist extraordinaire, Tim Holtz, and sharing our creations here at Studio L3.

The basis for this first challenge is found on Tim's blog.
I used Perfect Copper Perfect Pearls with Tea Dye Distress reinker,  and Stormy Sky Distress Ink over the masked images.  (The tape is from 7 Gypsies, I think.)  My two-handed arm is a Stampers Anonymous image painted with blue and copper Perfect Pearls.

Evelyn! YAY!!! I think you do grunge beautifully (and it almost ALWAYS takes me three tries to get something I like, so don't feel bad!).

Your tag is beautiful! Love the two-handed arm, and love the gorgeous background. And, you used my favorite Einstein quote, too!

I'm so glad you joined in-- it's always wonderful to see your art!
