I've known about 'chunky' ATCs for some time, but just wasn't interested enough to make one. Then I joined a one-for-one swap in the Pennywise Arts Yahoo group. These unusual ATCs are 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 ....just a 2x4 cut to 2 1/2 inches in 'length.'
(I learned a long time ago that 2x4's aren't really 2 inches by 4 inches, but are 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. Cut a piece 2 1/2 inches in length and you have a chunky ATC.)
I've now made two chunky ATCs, using Graphic 45 papers both times. This particular one features the "Le Cirque" line of papers. After painting the wood, I applied the polka-dotted paper and then cut out individual figures and items, collaging them on the surfaces with Glossy Accents. Then I applied another coat of Glossy Accents to seal everything. Ribbon trims and microbead accents were added. The feet are two corks that I painted red and attached to the bottom with wood glue.

Fabulous Chunky ATC Evelyn!!! I had my hubby cut a 2 x 4 up for me for chunky atc's, I have an entire box now! Love how you used the cork for feet.
Really wonderful job and theme!

These are wonderful Evelyn!
You truly are so very talented!
Wow - I love all your work! This one's my favorite but I must go look around more.... I'm a wannabe papercrafter with a huge stash, little time and less talent. THANKS for the beautiful inspiration!
hugs,
