First Fall-themed card of the year

This card is definitely 'fall-ish' in theme and color! However, I'm still personally resisting the change from summer.   After watching Jennifer McGuire's video tutorial for Hero Arts, I decided to try the 'permanent masking with Glossy Accents' technique.  I truly enjoy Jennifer's work with Distress Inks, and I like the fact that her creations are prettier than they are 'grunge-y.'
Here's Jennifer's video:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcKxqzXmsNs&feature=player_embedded

Very Zen like in the saying and the simple leaves, quite soothing really.

Heres hoping for a long Autumn!

Beautiful card. I am ready for a fall but hope it lasts a long time before winter comes. Our summer was so very hot since May that the cooler weather will feel good and sure help the a/c bill. Another good thing about fall--football. I stamped and watched college games all day yesterday. Dar
