Recently, I visited "Gaal Creative," a blog with various projects, tips, tutorials, and great photography. Anne Gaal has been posting her experiments with a variety of products, and this particular one illustrated a resist technique using Byzantia cloisonne' acrylic paints (Stewart Gill). I immediately ordered 3 bottles of the paint! (The link above will take you to that particular blog post.)
These three tags are my examples of Anne's resist technique, one tag for each color: Agean, Fra Angelico, and Acanthus. Even the names are beautiful! Using my favorite Hero Arts fern stamp, I first inked the tags with Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress Inks to get the multi-colored result. As Anne did, I turned one tag to illustrate the metallic results.
