Lots to Do --- Beeswax
I haven't worked with beeswax lately, so I welcomed the challenge on Lots to Do this week. The canvas board is 5x7, and I brushed a couple of wild pearlized acrylic colors on for the background. The Stampington flourish was stamped on the painted canvas with StazOn; the eyes (Third Coast) and sentiment (Quietfire Designs) were both stamped with StazOn on tissue paper, which I then tore and applied with beeswax. After brushing the rest of the canvas with the wax, I used a heat gun to melt it more. The flowers started out lighter than they became after waxing. They were supposed to coordinate with the fuchsia paint. Final touches included some gold foil and turquoise rhinestones.
Now I have leftover beeswax in my Melting Pot!
