Transfer ATCs for Think Monday Think ATC

Once I play with this transfer technique, I never stop at one.  TMAT is challenging followers to create ATCs with a transfer method. Often called the 'packing tape method,' this technique uses Contac paper instead.  The collage images from Digital Collage are laser prints.  The "busy" one was cut from a manila tag, accented with a torn piece of paper,  and then colored with fluid chalk inks before stamping. The white ink was heat-embossed, as well.  The red ATC was made from textured cardstock, which probably isn't the best to use with the transfer method.

Beautiful trio, Evelyn. I dumbly never thought of using contact paper. I always was so stymied because the packing tape wasn't quite wide enough. This gets around that problem very well. My favorite of the above ATCs is the first one, the lady with the pink flower, but all three are really top notch.

good idea with the contact paper! i sometimes overlay the packing tape if it isn´t wide enough, but your method is better of course!!

Boy, I'm always reminded how much I enjoyed that tape transfer class we took. The Contac paper is definitely the secret of good transfers. Nicely done ATCs, E. I like the "busy" one the best!
