I think I've missed only one of Linda's "Compendium of Curiosities Challenges." And we're already up to 22. I enjoy the "Alcohol Ink Splatter" technique (page 52 in Tim's book), but I tend to over-do the ink part. (Does anyone else consider canned air rather expensive? My can is nearly empty, and it's a 20-mile drive to buy a new one, so I used it sparingly.) Instead of stamping over the AI background, I chose diecuts and an embossing folder. And because I'm in a phase where I can't seem to make a decent card, I fell back on a tag.

Very pretty color combo, and I like my embossing folders too!
Very pretty. I quite like some of your other tags as well ~ they all have a nice feel, a prettiness to them. Thanks for your visit last week; I am still making the rounds.
Beautiful colors; very pleasing to the eye. I like the splatter on the diecuts only! Well done. Denise B.
Wow that was fast!!! I was visiting Vada's blog and caught this out of the corner of my eye! Very nice indeed! I plan on doing this on a die cut also, but boy does it make me nervous! Love this!
Lovely tag! I love the embossing on it and the colours on the stars are lovely.
Wow, I don't think there's anything here that is overdone. It's gorgeous!
I love that you die cut the splatter, then used those as the embellishment, and the embossing works perfectly with the stars!
WOW WOW WOW! I love the subtly of this.. and yes the cans are expensive! Have you tried a straw..lots of hard blowing but it does work...

What a great way to use the technique! And I love the colors and embossing.
Evelyn, I love how you designed this tag! The technique looks great on the funky start, and the embossing looks wonderful. Such lovely colors, too, and I don't think you could have found a sweeter sentiment! Awesome job on CCC 22!
Gorgeous tag Evelyn. I love those colours, they are so soft.
