Circles and Stars for Freshly Made

I was initially challenged by this Freshly Made sketch but ended up creating two cards.  Silver and green attracted me when I was digging through my many papers; actually, the green was the attraction, and I had already chosen the die for the "wreath" shape. It would have worked with black as the accent, but I wanted to keep the look "light"....and silver was a natural.

From the card for the blog post, I moved to a Halloween card for my granddaughter; it will accompany some "Halloweeny" items in a package going into tomorrow's mail.   This card features an image from Divinity Designs card front.  Because of the size of the image, I converted this particular card to a square shape that is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.

I love both of these! One is more elegant with the shiny silver touches, while the other is cute and a little spooky. Great job of getting two very different looks with one sketch! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Goodness, Evelyn, your first card is absolutely dreamy! The combination of papers and dies with silver is gorgeous. Brilliant use of the sketch! This takes its place among my top favorites of yours. Your Halloween card is a spooky-cute delight and it will be well received by your granddaughter!
