The newest card challenge for me is The Flower Challenge. For this particular challenge, I dug in the many drawers of floral stamps to find one of my most favorite: the Impression Obsession "ruffled bloom." I used Brushos in Brilliant Red, soaking the heat-embossed image on watercolor paper. The sentiment is from Stampabilities, stamped before the card was dry-embossed. Challenge met.

What a beautiful card Evelyn! I love that watercoloured flower...so pretty and the sentiment compliments it so well too. Thank you so much for sharing with us again over at 'The Flower Challenge' and we hope to see you again soon ;) Viv DT xx
Ohhh Evelyn what a beautiful card. Love that flower stamp and the red and white look so elegant together. Wonderful sentiment. Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge Aileen DT
So pretty! Can't go wrong with red and white. :-)
Ahhhh, I remember this pretty ruffly flower. It's so nice to see older stamps being used. Love the new stuff, but adore so many others, too. I like the effect of the single color Brushos. I must remember to do the embossing over sentiment. I like that, as well.
What a gorgeous big bloom! Hope all is well.....maybe I will start blogging ....again....in 2017:).....take care,,,,
Love the simplicity of your card, Evelyn. Very pretty.
