Trying to Get Back in the Groove

After a 4-day stint of rodeo activities 10 days ago, it was difficult for me to get back into crafting and photography.  Today, I'm posting cards for two challenges to try and get caught up.

The first is Mojo Monday, which I'm finally completing on Wednesday.  This was a real challenge for me; I made and destroyed 3 previous cards before settling on this one.  The great ideas in my mind often don't translate to cardstock.

FRESHLY MADE SKETCH 296

The second card today is for Freshly Made Sketches.  The feature of this card is a matboard tag covered in washi paper.

Welcome back, Evelyn. I hear you about how the ideas don't always translate. That's why I spent three hours making a card yesterday. Ultimately your projects turned out very nice. The first is fresh and fun with nice colors and cute polka dots. The second has a lovely serenity to it. Restful colors. Pretty.

Great take on the sketch, Evelyn.
Beautiful paper for the tag.

The washi paper tag for the FMS sketch is stunning. I love the colors you have selected to highlight it. Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
