Less is More with Silver

It's a color sketch for LESS IS MORE this week:  Christmas in non-traditional colors--no red or green. It's always a CAS challenge, as well.   My card is simple:  two diecuts (ornament from Memory Box and "merry" from Poppy Stamps) on a dry-embossed one layer background.   To give substance to the die cuts, I adhered a thin sheet of silver foil to heavy cardstock with spray adhesive before cutting.

Hi--what a clever card. You are certainly using your embossing folders as well as your die. Good for you.
I am going to San Diego on the 12th. Ralph will work for 2 weeks and I will go earlier. Anyway, I found a few stamp stores. It will be neat to see what is available that is different from us.

Hope all is well up there.

Less is certainly more in this case! Beautiful die cut, and it looks especially pretty over the embossed background.
