Football Game Card

I LOVE football...and I watch all I can, but I don't like to just sit and watch, particularly when my favorite team is in a tight game.   So I drag out some stamping stuff and make a card.  These Stampendous flowers took forever, it seemed:  stamped, cut, distressed edges, layered with foam dots.   All the papers are from the "Stationery Noted" 6x6 pad by Teresa Collins.  (I bought the pad because I liked the baby blue and red combo...but I used only the red!) The stamens were painted with Ranger's Inkssentials Enamel Accents and the completed flowers were spritzed with a shimmer spray.  The sentiment is one of my favorites from Penny Black. The card is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 .

Evelyn, you make amazing cards. I'm always astounded, and a scroll through your recent posts has astounded me once again. You take those simple sketches and make something special of them that I wouldn't have pictured. Very good! I love all the red on this one.
