Fun with Altered Art

I do love altering objects:  wine bottles, Altoid tins, CD tins, paper mache' boxes, shapes, and these neat torsos!   Today, it was "shoot from the hip" for me; I knew I wanted to do it in silver and use embossed flashing tape, microbeads, and silver foil flakes.    To finish it off, I created a pendant of a rectangular glass piece and image from Suze Weinberg's retired book of "Instant Art."    (Photographing silver is tough!)

I love it Evelyn! I just got done "downsizing" my grandma and she had a strofoam head for her old wig. Hadn't seen her wear the wig in 20 years so I donated the wig but I kept the head! Ü

And now you've inspired me!
