Photo Card

Since I spend most of my free time with my camera these days, it's nice now and then to combine the photography with card-making.   A recent session in a farmer's field of sunflowers at sunset resulted in this particular image.  I've chosen cardstock colors from the image and layered them to make a card for my girlfriend.

That is simply stunning, and so fun to know that YOU captured that image! This summer I also played around with using my own photos on cards, and was pleasantly surprised with the feedback I received. However my photos were nothing like this with my little point & shoot camera.

Elgin! You certainly don't see many bloggers from your neck of the woods. (My brother-in-law's family is from Elgin, Simonson.) Found while blog hopping from the Blockheads Paper Arts blog newsletter.
