Frilly and Funkie...and Faux

Once I purchased some "frilly and funkie" items from the Funkie Junkie Boutique, I was eligible to enter "Sunday Share."  Today, I watched Anita Houston's video about Perfect Pearls Faux Leather, and I made three tags almost immediately.  I chose one of the black ones (Perfect Gold, Copper, Perfect Pearl) as the base for my trio of metal keys (skeleton key and ruffled ribbon from Funkie Junkie) and a sueded flower.

Mummmm yummy! This is so gorgeous, Evelyn! That background is absolutely beautiful. I'm so inspired by Anita's sensational video too. Can't wait until I can get my hands on some of the Perfect Pearls and the black tags! Love the way you have worked in those stunning keys and that lovely-hued flower!

So thrilled to have you sharing this week with Sunday Share! Thanks so much for playing with us. I just love seeing what artists are doing with the products they purchase from The Funkie Junkie Boutique. Good luck on the drawing!

Hugs,
Linda

So cool! I love it.

I had to take a class in college where we had to make clothing out of nothing, but paper. Seems like a waist of time for some. I happened to love it! It was challenging. I sewed with thin strips of paper. We couldn't use glue, but we could use paint. I pressed flowers and glued them on with clear paint. Another person made a purse and coated it with shoe polish. It was water resistant.
