Altered Slide Mailer

Although I do love making cards, I also enjoy altering items such as tins and slide mailers.   This single slide mailer was stenciled with gold Glimmer Mist and stamped on the inside with chalk ink.  The image of the girl (digitalcollagesheets.com) was placed between two microscope slides and sealed with double-sided tape and silver microbeads (http://www.pennywisearts.com/beadsopaque.php).  ( I did the exterior of the slide mailer first, creating a small rosette from designer paper.  Then it sat for at least two weeks while I decided what to do on the inside.)

Very sweet! I have wanted to do one of these but forget that I have the slide mailers on hand. Nicely done, Evelyn!

The amount of detail that goes into your work is always so wonderful Evelyn. I just love the microscope slides/beads idea, and it is so beautiful.
