Joining the Compendium of Curiosities

Tim Holtz's latest book, Compendium of Curiosities Volume II, is the starting point for Linda Ledbetter's latest challenge series of the same name.  Sponsor for this week is Eclectic Paperie.  Although this is Challenge #3, I'm joining in for the first time.  Marbled Stains (p. 46 in the book)  is one of the Tim-techniques in the recent "Creative Chemistry 101" course.   I struggled with the technique then, and I did again today, but after three throwaway tags, I think I figured out my problem.   Of course, Tim makes everything look easy.  ;-)  Both my tag and Umbrella Man were treated to the Marbled Stains technique, but I also spritzed the tag with Perfect Pearls Mist in Antique Gold after embossing it in a texture fade.

Hello Evelyn
I am pleased you persevered with this Technique, as this result you have achieved on the Tag is wonderful. The embossing has the effect of him walking into a tunnel from the rain, it is great.

Gorgeous tag Evelyn. I still haven't gotten Tim's new book. I seem to be missing out on a lot of great techniques!
