Diamond Fold Card

Now and then, I try the technique tutorials on Splitcoaststampers. Beate Johns' tutorial for the Diamond Fold card intrigued me, although I know that I've made one or two of them sometime in the past.    This will be the weekly card that I send my wonderful college friend who is fighting cancer.  Each Monday, I mail her a card.  One thing that stands out in my memory of our college years was her amazing ability to play the piano by ear.  Music has always been part of her life, and this 7Gypsies patterned paper seemed so appropriate.

My only music sentiment rubber stamp wouldn't fit the top of the card, so I went to the internet for a quotation.
The decorative brads are from Basic Grey.

(The card measures 4 1/4 inches square, so will fit in one of my square envelopes.)
