Twinkling with H2O's

(A few have asked about the 'bling' on the petals and leaves...and the extra flourishes.  Those are all part of the stamp!)
It's very difficult to find anything that has more shimmer than Twinkling H2O's..... I have more than 160 of the colors, and they are so fun to paint with.  I used this great Stampendous poinsettia image last year to make a few 'dimensional' cards that were painted with Twinks, and I had to try it again this year. It involves stamping,  embossing and painting the image on the base layer and then stamping, embossing and painting a second image for cutting and layering with pop dots.     (In the TJ newsletter, there's a painting tutorial in the August/September 2003 issue.)      Click on photos for closer view.

This is a striking card Evelyn, Choosing Turquoise Blue was a great choice. How did you do your leaves they look amazing. Have you used bling for the veins on the petals or is it a penned design? It is a wonderful Stamp.

Oh my - this is the second blue poinsettia card I've seen today! What is up with that?

However, no matter what color it is, it is a truly gorgeous card! Your painting and fussy-cutting really paid off!
