Doubling the Distress

"Double Distress" is the Compendium of Curiosities challenge chosen by Linda L. this week.  Because my results looked a little dull to me, I added some metallic gold ink on the edges. The tag was cut from a piece of grungeboard previously textured and the reindeer was embossed in a CB folder.   (This technique of Tim's can be found on page 40 of his book.)

This is lovely! I don't know about dull-(I wouldn't say so!), but the gold edging was a nice touch too.

Hello, sweet Evelyn! I LOVE your cool, DOUBLE-double-distressed reindeer tag. There's something about the combination of blue and light brown that looks SO elegant, and you've really taken the look to a whole new level here. It's gorgeous!
