Another box with Tim's papers

Tim's paper pack of "Vintage Shabby" is my favorite of all his papers.  If I'm going to do 'distress' or 'grunge,' I want it to be pretty.  This is a triangular papier mache box, 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2. The box was painted a pale blue as prep.  After the paper was applied to the box, I inked it with Walnut Stain Distress Ink.  Grungepaper was covered with a piece of the paper before being die cut with the "Tattered Florals" die (more Walnut Stain on the edges).   I sandwiched some paper flowers in the stack, too.  The tissue tape covers the edge (notice how the blue paint shows through the tissue)  and beaded trim covers the tape.    The inside isn't finished...yet.  (click photos for closer views)

Wow, what a gorgeous box. Love these papers, too, although I keep saying I shouldn't buy them. You're always enabling me, though. That beaded trim is so beautiful; where'd you get it? Lovely, lovely piece of artwork. Denise B.
