Chipped Enamel Key

I have very little metal in my stash, so when Linda (Studio L3) chose "Chipped Enamel" for this week's challenge from the Compendium of Curiosities book, I was at a loss. I couldn't even find  a metal button!  Digging around, I did find one of Tim's Idea-ology Word Keys.  Why not?  Some Dusty Concord Distress Embossing Powder did the trick.   (Yes, I know the background paper is upside down, but I discovered it only when I was photographing the final project!)

Very nice design and color choice for this. Love the key; nice find! Another good creation. Denise B.

Hi Evelyn, I had the same problem as you -- not much metal to distress. Your key turned out fabulously. Purple was an excellent choice. I only have two jars of distressed powder so I'm rather limited in that area as well but it is fun to try the techniques using whatever we can find.

Lovely card. I really like the colour combination, and that key looks great.
