Pennywise Arts Community Blog Hop!

Thanks for hopping along on our Pennywise Arts community blog hop.  If you didn't start at the beginning, you can go to the PWA blog and get your hopping orders!  At the end of the weekend, there will be a prize drawing among blog hoppers who leave a comment on every blog entry.  Be sure to let us know you were here!   Sponsor of this blog is Pennywise Arts.

My card features the famous...and my favorite...ultrafine clear microbeads.   Although I have a huge variety of microbead colors, I almost always reach for the 'sugar' when I create a microbeaded item.  Actually everything on the face of this card is a Pennywise product:  the background is a collage comprised of items from the "Ephemera I" collage sheet designed by PWA member, Michele Aiello-Zendejas (Swing Shift Designs).   I printed the collage sheet, cut out the items and 'collaged' them on the card front.   Then I chose the image from Lovely Ladies I and covered it in clear O'So Sticky double-stick tape and ultrafine clear microbeads. (Click on image for closer view.)

Thanks for visiting! If you don't have a blog address, you can leave a comment anonymously...and then add your name so you are part of the drawing at the end of the hop!     Your next stop on the hop is where you started--at the Pennywise Arts Blog.

This is beautiful, Evelyn. I haven't done much with microbeads. I am totally inspired to try some!

Hopped on by to say Hi! Nicely done card! The ultra fine clear beads are a staple and favorite of mine too. Also loved your Asian card. The technique challenges look like they are fun. Kathi

Your project reminds me that I need to get out my collage sheets more often. What an easy way to get great elements for a quick card. After reading your post I want to change the name to sugar beads! Sounds more fun! Ü

Hmm Did they intentionally save the best for last? I LOVE THIS!! You did a wonderful job - I really like your collage and the woman you chose. The beads/"sugar" really brings some texture and drama to your piece. YUM! xx
